Svarak Mulled Wine
Svařák, also called svařené víno is the Czech name for mulled wine.
This recipe is traditional Czech mulled wine. Quick, easy and tasty!
300ml Red Wine or White Wine 200 ml Water 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder or 2 Cinnamon Sticks 4 Whole Cloves 3 Small Pieces Star Anise 4 table spoons Brown Sugar
Place all except wine in a pot and heat until the sugar has dissolved.
Add wine and heat gently around 5 minutes. Avoid boiling.
Ladle the mulled wine into mugs and enjoy!
Do not let the mixture boil!
If you prefer more sweeter mulled wine, add more sugar.
