Fruit Dumplings
Fruit Dumplings are one of the traditional Czech desserts.
Czech Dessert, Ovocne Knedliky[Fruit Dumplings]

Ingredients: Yields
20-25 dumplings
(ping pong ball sized)300g(2 1/2cups) all purpose flour 30g(1 oz) unsalted butter 1 egg 80ml(1/3 cup) milk 1/4 tsp salt 200g(7 oz) cottage cheese Your favourite fruits and toppings!
In this recipe:
frozen strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and red currants for stuffing
whipped cream and chocolate sauce for topping

Directions: 1
Place flour and salt in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

Place cottage cheese, egg and butter into a food processor and pulse until blended.

Add milk and pulse until blended well.

Place 3 in 1 and mix with spatula until most flour is mixed in.

Roll out dough to 5mm (1/4 inch) thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut into 7x7cm square shapes and place fruits on centre of the dough.

Centre.

Seal all edges up.

Roll well.

Drop dumplings in boiling water.
! Good to use a ladle to drop in for preventing the dumplings get stick to the pot.

Boil them for 10 minutes.

Serve with your favourite toppings.

Suitable for freezing
Coating with corn starch, dumplings won’t stick!
Notes:
You would feel like the dough is quite soft. Don’t worry! The dough is supposed to be soft.
